Hmmm, it’s true you don’t have to fertilize and trim roots on a tchochke, but I think these things would be the devil to dust! Your statement might better be applied to stuffed animals. Or Redskins games…

There’s something just inherently wrong about preserving a bonsai tree. To me, the whole point of them is that these miniatures are living art.

Preserved means dead, I assume.
