I received these pruners with the Radius 3-piece pruning tool set. The blade locking mechanism is positioned so that it keeps trying to lock while using, preventing one from squeezing closed the blades. A very, very stupid design flaw. Save your money for a decent pair and not waste it on these lousy Radius pruners.
