This is way beyond anything that I would purchase for home use. What makes one blender better than another, other than power?

Is there some reason ‘Vitamix’, which is so clearly readable on the image, is not in the title?

Perfect reviews over at WilliamsSonoma.com

Whats the difference between the Factory Reconditioned here and a certified reconditioned one at the manufactures website for $350?

It is a nice blender.

I have one, 374 new at Costco. This model has the same motor but also has a few timed settings, otherwise identical to the 5300.

It is an excellent blender but not worth 500 used or refurbished.

As someone who owns a Certified Reconditioned Vitamix 5200, I can’t recommend this brand enough. I use it nearly daily. It makes all sorts of things, from the obvious (shakes, smoothies) to the not so obvious (popcorn salt!).

Now, being a consumer myself, I want to point out that you can buy the Vitamix Certified Reconditioned Standard Programs (a category of their blenders containing the Professional Series 500 being sold here) for $349 direct from the website. It’s also worth noting that when purchased from the website it includes their 5-year warranty in the price, with the option to extend it to 8-years for an additional $75.

Regardless of where you source it, the blender is amazing and if you’re in the market for a blender with some more oomph than the Osters and Brevilles you might find in stores like Target or WalMart, definitely consider Vitamix.

OK, you gotta check out this skit from SNL on the Vitamix

Sorry, have no idea how to embed Hulu clips.

CHEFS sells the EXACT MACHINE brand new with a full 2 year warranty for $100 more than you generous price. That’s right, brand new for $599 including shipping. Does is make any sense at all for any of your customers to buy the same machine USED with a 90 day Woot warranty to save only $100?

If you want a link, I’ll provide it, but all you need do is go to google.

I will personally blend anyone’s food for 500 dollars.

Brilliant. My sentiments exactly. Did I mention this is great for making baby food!!! XD

wait, so none of these blenders sold?

I just noticed that as well. perhaps the sale stats are hidden?
