Wasn’t this in the wootoff just a few hours ago? And for $10 more?
So, this isn’t “GoPro” quality?
I would LOVE to get a go-pro for martial arts…I think it would be awesome to use in sparring…but this, I don’t think would hold up
Is the smartphone app only for 1080p Expo version?
Yay a previous review got quoted. I still stand behind what i had said before, not good in low light, etc.
And does it bother anyone that in the image woot is using the camera is not on the skydiver’s head like it is outside the viewfinder screen of the camera?
Every time the sell it!
The quality of Pyle’s Photoshopping is on a par with the quality of their products.
i bought a Pyle expo 1080p action camera last time it was on woot! (June 1st 2014). And im very happy with quality of video and sound. All of the mounting gear it came with works very well. the smartphone app is ok…battery life is good for camera this size, and charges decently fast. the display on the expo is a blessing over the Go-pro(which does not have a screen). i have used the expo 4 days a week for at least 2 weeks now, multiple times a day. and its holding up very well. ive used this on many pool trips, bike rides, mudding adventures, beach excursions, and car rides/shows. it was a great buy for me! thanks!
Can I create time lapse videos with this camera by setting it up to automatically take an image every x minutes and then stich them together into a video?
Before you buy this for underwater use, note that it’s only rated for 3m (~9’) of water.
Go Pro Cameras are rated for 40m (131’) of water.
Basically, this is not to be used for Scuba Diving Activities.
Thanks. I was trying to find a camera exactly for that. I was willing to give this one a shot and was hoping to find the depth rating. You just saved me $45.
The PSCHD90 is rated for diving. A little more expensive though.
•Marine Grade Waterproof Case: Safe for Depths up to 190 Feet
Nice. Thanks for this under water info.
Bought the 720 version, seems to be OK for the price.
It lasted for a day or two and now won’t turn on and computer won’t recognize it! (not abused either)
I had the same issue. It turned out to be a bad USB cord that came with the camera.
