I’ve had my orange scale for almost a year now, and it still works like a champ with every other day use. The app. for the iphone is a really amazing tool. I’ve the pyle heartrate monitor that the app can also use; it’s really has helped me motivate myself to lose weight with such ease of tracking.

Does this integrate with the iOS Health app? What about other health portals?

The Amazon reviews for this are pretty mixed, including some about very inconsistent readings. That’s not encouraging. (For the digital one with BIA)

Mine works great as a scale but the bluetooth has never worked. Thus justifies the low low price.

I bought this scale about a year ago and it worked great for about 8 months then it died for no apparent reason. I called Pyle for support and was told I’d have to pay for shipping not only to them, but back to me as well! Was pretty let down at that type of “support” when the product carries a 2 year warranty. After looking at shipping costs, I didn’t think it would be too much more just to go buy another scale, so that’s what I did. Good luck.

reviews on the iTunes app store say no HealthKit integration.

Your phone requires a certain level of bluetooth so that could be the problem. From what you are saying, I assume you can read the scale ok.

Bought it a year ago. Bluetooth has never worked! Not impressed with Pyle products.

We got the scales a few days ago. Decided to try it out this morning. I had no problem downloading the app the my samsung s4. I used the scale and the app worked. I recently had bariatric surgery and it was recommended to weight every day. Hope this helps keep me motivated and on track.
