I have these, or a very similar set. They’re great.
I’ll answer the most often asked questions:
- They are NOT leak-proof.
- They nest together nicely,
Personally, I do not put the lids in the dishwasher.
Nor do I take them directly from freezer to oven - so I have never had Pyrex shatter due to temperature extremes.
If they aren’t leak-proof, how easily and how badly do they leak? If I kept some soup in it and it sloshed a bit, would I be likely to be leaking, or is it generally only a problem if I store a liquid in it and turn it completely upside down or something?
My SO recently learned the hard way not to microwave these lids… I’ve been fine with top shelf of dishwasher, but I can definitely see the value of hand washing the lids. No explosion problems on my end either, but I use them mainly for leftovers, not for cooking.
Sloshing is probably fine. I wouldn’t tip them upside down.
Got two sets, really like them-fewer Zip-locs
