I bought a different Q-Nap from a previous woot offer. While I don’t know the specifics of this model, I can tell you I was looking for a NAS and got something WAY BETTER. The features and apps you can install from the web GUI with just a click are amazing. If you are a tinkerer, you can add optware to these things.
Right now I use my QNap as a NAS,VPN,IRC client, SQL server, GIT server, Mantis bug tracker, and much more.
worth the price.
