Per Ignoredobsessions request here are our official descriptions for the 05 Syrah and 07 Syrah:
Big and richly dark wines that have a refined balance and an elegant nature. Both wines show fully ripe blueberries, black cherries, and dried currant in the forward flavors. The 05 is more of a Rhone style with strong earthly overtones. Middle and finish show characteristics of Italian espresso, stoutly porters and Mediterranean spices. A wonderful wine to drink alone and even better with a grilled Porter-House steak. I hope you all enjoy!
