is this a brand new product or a refurbished item. Why is is not in the original packaging?
It’s new in a non-retail box. Saves money to not have the full-color retail shelf box.

I have the 16 zone model and love it. No more waking up early and running to shut off the sprinklers because it rained.
Unless you’re 100% sure you’ll never need more than 8 zones, get the 16 zone model.
