Rock bottom price but the unknown factor makes it not worth it. Besides you wants to run a 64bit operating system with only 2GB RAM. This thing will run like a stuffed pig.

These are not that bad for just knock around laptops. If all you do it a little word processing, surf facebook, and get emails, then this is not a bad deal. It is great for traveling down the road and letting kids play a video on it. So for 154 with shipping, you get a better use chromebook that can run REAL word and excel.

Reading through the last 3-4 sets of comments about this offering it was said that some of the models they received were actually selling for only $100 on eBay so good luck.

$150 is too much for some random dual-core laptop. You can find them on eBay or Craigslist for half that price.

180 degrees opposite of what I’d suggest. Get a Chromebook. If for nothing else, better battery life. Who knows how old these batteries are?

[Not everyone needs Word and Excel and maybe kids can look out the car window and play travel games and react with the real world.]

I have a hard time pulling the trigger when I can get this with a one year warranty from a decent refurber with a 30 day return period for roughly the same price with shipping and tax and know exactly what I am getting.

Ordered one of these yesterday. Just received the shipping notice with the weight at 7.9 lbs. Maybe they gave me two or maybe just overpackaged? Maybe a Wine.woot cast off to drown the sorrows of buyer’s remorse? Actually, no remorse here…in the (paraphrased) words of Will Rogers, “I’ve never met a Woot refurb I didn’t like.”

Thanks for that link. That’s excellent for my needs.
