I received these today. They come vacuum packed, emerging VERY fllat and VERY dense with no instructions on how to fluff them.
After sitting out for an hour there was no noticeable change. Looking at the Amazon page for the pillow I saw the manufacturer says to tumble them in a dryer on the lowest heat for 5 minutes. I put one pillow in yhe dryer and bits fluffed, but the majority was unchanged. I have now let it tumble for two full hours, checking every 15 minutes and changing the orientation of the pillow inside the dryer. This helped, about 3/4 is nicely fluffed, but 1/4 is still EXTREMELY dense and compacted chunks the size of hardcover books, protexted from further fluffing by the parts that are fluffed.
I have tried to manually fluff these hard sections but do not feel like I am making any effective progress compared to the amount of energy I am putting into it.
Ant tips/tricks for getting these fully fluffed? At this point I do not think I will ever purchase a vacuum packed shredded foam pillow ever again!
It shouldn’t take too much to get them to fluff. Could be something happened to it or it was old stock.
