We have two of these and they are solid. You will be impressed with their construction. We take ours camping, on day trips on bike paths (they can go for miles) or just scooting around the local streets. The only thing they aren’t great for is hills. If you think you’ll have fun with these, don’t worry. They will live up to your expectations. They are great.

I bought this same model for my grandson for Christmas. He LOVES it, as do his parents and my husband. It’s insane how everyone wants to ride this thing. It’s very well built and super heavy duty. Top of their line. It’s great for older kids and adults. Wish I’d gotten it at this great Woot price though! :wink:

Are the batteries replaceable with anything more or less standard?

Around $30+ for a replacement. Not bad. According to the manual… it should hold up to 250 charges.

Would I really need to lose 30 pounds to use one of these? Hmph!

Received this purchase Friday night, and in spite of following assembly and charging instructions to the letter, the Razor will not start or work. Have notified Woot, and am waiting for their response to determine what to do next. Unhappy.

Got mine last week and is not charging or bad batteries. Doesn’t last more than 10 minutes when it say’s it fully charged.
