Hey Woot! come on! I just bought this like a week ago and now you’ve dropped the price $5. I hope you’ll honor the lower price.
anyone know what is the max height on the handlebars?
Time for one more:
As far as I can tell, it was $4 less in August and September, at $39 then:

Thanks for the link. I live about fifteen minutes walk from work. Do you think I could use this to commute to and from work?

I’ve been riding about two miles a day on a Razor Pro (the folding one) in my daily commute to get to and from the bus in downtown Seattle for over a year. It’s twice as fast and ten times as fun as walking.
I picked mine up on Amazon for about this same price. This is the cheapest I’ve seen them.
Except for wearing a hole in the brake (press the rear fender onto the wheel) because I ignored the warnings not to ride down hills (like I said, I use it in Seattle), it has held up great to my daily use.
I fixed the brake with some metal clay epoxy that I picked up at Lowes for about $10 and have since been kicking along just fine.

I bought a Malibu Cruiser from woot! a month ago. The length of grip tape space for your feet is only about 12 inches, so it only fits one foot solidly.
That being said, I use this thing around campus everyday. Sure, it’s a bit cheaply built (it’s a kid’s toy, what do you expect?), but it’s sure as hell convenient on sidewalks and such (not to mention way better performing than the traditional razor).
Also, I’m 185 lbs, despite what the 144-lb. weight limit says, and it still works great.
For the discounted price, I would get it.

Please, please, please wear a helmet with these scooters & some wrist guards (or really, just pass & find another activity)! If it has wheels, you need a helmet.
We used to have one but it went in the trash. My daughter had a nasty spill where she ended up with a compound fracture of her lower arm (that’s where both bones are broken & exposed, you get to call 911, have surgery, a few months in a cast from fingers to shoulder & your child ends up in therapy for a few years with PTSD). She also hit her head in the fall but was wearing a helmet so her head wasn’t injured even though her arm was mangled.

IN case someone doesn’t answer, from the manual:

centers at www.razor.com or call toll-free at 866-467-2967 Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific
Time.
I could be wrong but…on the specs tab I believe the dimensions are entered wrong… 8.5"x27"x4"?? My midget butler could not even ride one that small…c’mon WOOT get with the program…I know it’s Monday morning and all…but …open gullet, insert coffee, energy drink, and multivitamin, close gullet, prepare for brain to start. See? feel better now?
Scooters are all the rage right now, especially on college campuses. You can scoot all the way across campus in just a few minutes!
Do you have a scooter yet? ![]()
Got this a couple of months ago when it was offered for my little girl’s 6th birthday. She opened it up a week ago and it’s a huge hit. No assembly required, ready to ride almost instantly. It’s a hit! Seems well made enough.
Want 2 for my kids but found that have to pay sales tax in CA now.
Thank you for the quotes. I am a bit (read very) scared by the helmet warning. I will steer clear of this one and try to be safe. I am pretty sure I’d want to ride it every day if I got it and commuting on it on icy roads this winter would be a recipe for disaster.
Not the same.
The one linked has a laminated wood deck, while this one is steel.
I have both colors of the wooden one, it’s a good scooter. Larger wheels make for a smoother ride over the standard Razors.
The product description page on their website says there are 2 types of this model, metal and wood:
“Malibu model has metal deck, available exclusively at Walmart.”
I wonder if this would motivate me to lose 20 lbs?
