to be honest, i wish the moderators would enforce the rules a little more robustly - might remove any arguments.
Start your own discussion threads on Woot and non-Woot things. Gab on as you may, guy and gal set.

imho off-topic discussion and using the woot boards for free advertising for something completely not related to woot and that directly profits you are two different things. Putting your website in your signature (even if it’s a deals site or things are for sale there) is one thing, but posting a thread advertising your ebay auction is probably not kosher with the woot gods and certainly could rub a lot of people the wrong way.
