When did cars -regularly- begin to have seatbelts installed? Secondly, when was the Federal Regulation passed that required that they be installed in all U.S.-made cars? Finally, how many states currently require you to have your seatbelt fastened when you are driving (Note: you see how New Mexico is fairly bright on the map? Perhaps it proves that the folks in my state are idiots when it comes to buying safety equipment).
Anyhow, I’m nearly 55 and the likelihood of seatbelts installed in ANY cars in the U.S. when my mom was pregnant with me is vanishingly small. So… what’s your point?
