Korean beef

let me dig that one out

Beef . . . it’s what’s for dinner . . .

any good cut of angus steak sprinkled with sea salt and crushed black pepper

hold over grill till outside changes from red to brown

inside should be bloody rare

serve with grilled mushrooms, garlic, and onions.

i make grilled prawns to go with for surf and turf. melt butter (real butter) and add crushed garlic.
dip prawns in melted butter and…this can make for a very erotic meal…

How do you grill the mushrooms, garlic and onions?

sorry. my grill has 2 side burners so i use a pan. oh but on a charcoal grill you can put them in foil with butter and let them cook that way.

Use doubled aluminum foil on the grill or just saute them in a skillet . . . or kabob 'em . . .

I’ve always wondered why putting things on foil is any different than just doing them in the house on the stove.

Keeps a pan clean and ya already have the grill going . . .

edit: plus, doing them on the foil in the grill gives them a smoky flavor . . .

That’s what I don’t understand, how any smoke gets to them.

Ya put the lid on the grill . . .

nice photo…

Could we get back to the subject of the thread, please.

Yes, that would be a good idea

I’d like to put out a request for a good Beef Stroganoff Recipe. Haven’t had it in so many years we forget how we made it.

Crap I have one of those too, ok tomorrow after my football picks I do the Korean beef and Stroganoff…

Thanks, I’d appreciate it!

We do a simple version.
Brown a pound of ground beef in a cup of red wine. Drain off fat.
Mix a can of cream of mushroom soup with 8 ounces of sour cream and heat to slow boil.
Combine sauce with browned meat and keep warm until noodles are ready.
Boil noodles until tender.
Spoon mixture on top of warm noodles.
