Redragon K556 RGB LED Backlit Wired Gaming Keyboard

I recently bought the SteelSeries backlit keyboard. But you didn’t get the light through the keys so you still needed an overhead light on so you could see the keys to type. So does this light through the keys or is it also part of the ripoff series?

I went to Amazon and searched “Letters” on the Q&A. Found this:

That and all the photos on their site as well make it look like the letters light up.

Bought one from Mothership last year . . .

I love this keyboard - use it on my personal PC and will likely buy today for my work PC.

Answer to your question, bubba; yes, the light comes through the keys and also beneath the key. You see the letter on top and the key outline underneath.

For all; The brown keys have a great feel. They aren’t loud but the response is great. Included is a pack of 8 additional keys (2 blue, 2 red, 2 brown, 2 black) and two puller tools (one for the cap and one for the action).

FWIW, I recommend! I am happy with mine. Also, you can color every key individually, set groups or use any of their several pre-programmed color schemes AFTER you download the software. The software pretty wanky though.

Oh, one more thing. If you program the colors on one computer then move the keyboard to another computer, it retains it’s scheme even without the software installed. It obviously has some onboard memory.

If you are looking for a realllllllllllllllllllly good mechanical keyboard, I suggest looking at https://thocstock.com/

It is an aggregate website that pulls in stock keyboards from all the top vendors.

My .02, this isn’t a bad keyboard, but you could do much better for a little more money.
