I bought 3 pairs of these exact shorts the last time Woot had them (a few weeks ago). Absolute garbage. The stitching was coming apart before they were even worn. One washing unraveled them enough to leave holes in them. Contacted Reebok and told them their product was garbage, they replied that I could send the shorts to them (at my expense) with proof of purchase and they would send me a refund. I told them I would just like a quality product, without any hassles, instead of a refund. I never heard back from them.
And the award for least relevant product writeup goes to…
(it’s all good, the writers deserve a birthday break I just thought it was super funny that the classic writeup wasn’t even a smidge close to what was for sale)

I concur with this previous post. I bought 4 pairs last time and in contrast to their tags, no two were the same size. My last couple Woot’s have been giant let downs. My wife has decided that woot just purchases and resells the manufacturing rejects. I think she may be right…
You can’t expect these to be the same kind of shorts you might find at your local mall or department store. These are probably the bargain basement quality of reebok short.
These shorts would probably be fine for wearing around the house, or going to the gym…but don’t expect too much of them. The quality and durability will most likely not be there.
I remember getting a really good pair of starter shorts back in the late 90s-early 2000s. These shorts have been through the war. Beaches/ocean, chlorine, and probably close to a couple hundred workout sessions (running, lifting, etc). They have JUST now started coming apart at the seems. Best pair of athletic shorts I’ve ever owned…and they will be missed (plays taps softly in head).
I can see that possibly being the case, considering all of the refurbished and reconditioned stuff they sell. It’s like going to an outlet store. You really aren’t getting a great deal, but the prices are lower, because you aren’t getting the highest quality.
I also bought 4 pair of these when they had them the last time. The quality is TERRIBLE. They are maybe worth 4-5$ at the most.
In addition to them being made like crap, they are see through in the right conditions.
I wore each of my 4 pair once, and one is already RIP.
I would recommend going to target and getting some of their 15$ ones. I have a pair of those that has lasted years. And target has a return policy for the crap they sell.
Years ago, I bought some Reebok socks from Sears. I liked the socks, so I decided to pick up a bundle for cheaper, at the Reebok outlet. The outlet socks were purchased probably 6 months after the others and wore out first.
Even thought they claimed to be the exact same socks, the outlet socks were also thinner.
Reebok isn’t worried about their reputation, obviously.
