This is truly a magical device! Instant light without electricity…

This doesn’t look bad. Any finds on battery life?

from some website, $14.95 + s&h- they claim 100,000 hour life, but that must be bulb life, not battery life

If I get three of these, will one remote turn them all on or are they all different frequencies?

if put 3 of these in the same room, will they all turn on with one remote? i assume no…

what are these for???

do-it-yourself underwater lamps

*no, not really

Are these weatherproof or just indoor use only?

That could be both advantage and disadvantage but I would be willing to bet for the price the remote doesn’t work on different frequencies like a garage door opener.

In for three in any case - garage and sheds.

Hahaha…

Attach them to the bottom of a saucepan and you get a spaceship

If you want to put a weak dc current in your water…go ahead!

OI! Its a remote controlled battery powered light! What else do you think a light should do, play music and do your dishes?

Might not be a safe assumption. I remember reading reviews of remote controls used to turn single-outlet power bars on and off. Some people who ordered two found that both remotes used the same frequency. (I found the review on Amazon at: http://www.amazon.com/SVAT-WRC101-Wireless-Outdoor-Control/product-reviews/B000HAVVKG/ref=cm_cr_pr_link_next_2?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=0&filterBy=addFiveStar&pageNumber=2 Admittedly a different product but might have similar issues.

I expect they would all work with the same remote.

they will all turn on cause they are indeed on the same frequency.

In for 3. I’m donating one to my mother, who lives in tornado alley, where they often lose power during severe thunderstorms. This will be nice for lighting the way down the basement stairs. Haven’t figured out what I’m doing with the other two. I think I still have about 4 tap lights left from a thrift store purchase eons ago. (No remotes on those, though.)

is this light color the bright day light (white) or soft white light (yellow) ?
