Reusable Face Mask with Breathing Valve (2-Pack)

Please don’t sell these masks during a global pandemic. Adding “non-medical” to the title makes it worse, because that only protects woot. It’s like warning people against putting cotton swabs in their ears. It’s literally the only reason people would buy them.

Let me be perfectly clear. If you sell these, people will wear them to protect themselves or protect others. More people will become infected and more people will die compared to you not selling them.

More sales = more graves.

Agreed. If these had a disposable-filter pocket, they’d be usable. Without that, THEY’RE A PUBLIC HAZARD. Some Halloween masks would be more effective at filtering covid than these.
Woot, please take these off your site. Now!

I have a few masks almost exactly like these that I use when in dusty areas on my ATV.
They do have a purpose in life…

Yeah, this mask isn’t a top seller because a thousand people just decided they wanted to clean their attic.

My Home Depot is out of masks. I’m fairly sure they are not out of stock because they are all being used for home improvement projects.

A flash sale on this mask that does not protect others from an asyptomatic wearer of this mask is irresponsible during these times.

Fact that this ‘mask’ sold out is haunting to say the least

I just received mine today after waiting two weeks for them. I tried to put it on to see how it fit. The ear strap broke immediately as it was made out of foam. Cheaply made. I’ve requested a refund. -5 Woots - it’s garbage.

As a safety nerd, I was entirely way to curious about these too pass them up. Before I say more, THESE ARE NOW PROPS FOR SAFETY TRAINING IN THE NEVER, EVER USE CATEGORY. Why in all caps? Because that’s what people will read. These FOAM masks shouldn’t be used for anything. Ever. They aren’t reusable (that’s really laughable) and they wouldn’t protect you against grass while mowing the lawn (get a banana it’ll work better). The only use my smart ass teenager could come up with was protecting a cake from spit as the birthday kid blew out the candles.

Seriously WOOT, please do not even put leftovers in BOC. These are actually pretty dangerous and misleading.

Just received these today and they truly are crap. 12.99 but worth about 1.99. Small, foam rubber and they even smell funny. Crap. Not BOC, just crap.

I agree with everyone that these are garbage masks. I received mine yesterday and was horrified by how bad they were. This is my second bad experience buying masks from Woot. While I’ve enjoyed other stuff from the site, I’m going to stay away from masks. I requested and was given a refund.

Got mine too, these are terrible.

I just got my mask, the quality is literally foam material that will rip after a one time use. I have never shopped at Woot before, can I return this to a local Kohl’s like Amazon?

Totally agree. I was expecting the mask to be made out of thin neoprene instead of the open cell foam used for snow goggles. I tried breathing hard to make the valve operate and most of the air went through the mask and gaps above and below. Not only that the flap wouldn’t even seal correctly so its pointless AND the initial smell is terrible. Not sure this is even useful for mowing.

I received mine too. They are totally crap masks. It’s made out of foam. For $6.50 each. I don’t think it will last if you keep reusing them. Went to an opticians office and was handed another mask to wear. I won’t even wear them if you were to to stop dust, it would be just a magnet for it once the moisture builds up.
