not a bad price

I HAVE 2, AND THIS IS THE BEST MP3 PLAYER EVER MADE.

I ALSO HAVE AN IPOD. THIS THING HAS A 5 BAN CUSTOMIZABLE EQ

#14

Does anyone know how to get Text updates on a phone?

#15

Does anyone know if this has a sleep timer before I go waste $250 on a 2GB Nano? My Forge doesn’t have one. Thanks!

#16

I love how they can trash the iPod two woots after selling (out) of a pricy iPod accessory.

Ah, sweet irony.

#17

I just want to say I actually own this exact Rio (even bought it refurb from overstock). This MP3 Player is AWESOME! It will play just about any file format, it is easy to use. Works great. Plus you can’t beat a 20 (yes, TWENTY) hour battery life (I’ve tested and have gotten up to 23 at one time). And the size is essentially the same as the Nano (shaped differently, but the same size thickness and size).

I HIGHLY recommend this MP3 player, I’d buy another one if I wasn’t so happy already with mine.

#18

I really HATE Apple bashing. The Rio is garbage, first of all, but even if it wasn’t such a bad product, I don’t know if the iPod bash was necessary. I shouldn’t take it personally…but I’m one of THOSE Apple people.

The Rio, better than an iPod? Excuse me, I need to go spend the next month LMAO.

#19

Rio is a good brand, my mp3 cd player i got in 2001 (a RioVolt… or something) still works… but alas, i’ll pass, im happy with my iRiver pmc

You people are crazy. I’ve had several mp3 players and used almost every one on the market, and I bought this one almost a year ago. It still works great and has amazing battery life. I truly love this mp3 player. As for the comments about durability, I’ve dropped mine off of my loft onto the ground a few times (which no mp3 player should have to go through) and it still works fine. It really is a quality product, I can’t say enough about this woot. Great price too, I paid $150 or so for mine I believe.
