Ritetemp 7-Day Programmable Universal Thermostat

Are there a lot of consumers who have a HVAC unit, but don’t have one of these yet? Don’t most houses come with these? I suppose a contractor could use these for new builds, but not if he can only buy 3…

Here’s the manual.

I see you have still not gotten over 1000, did you go on vacation or something?

Based on reviews shouldn’t this have wound up here instead of woot ?

I’m just wondering how long it’s going to take to get this mailed from Woot.

So far, I’ve got stuff ordered from the 9/7/10 and 9/9/10 that still hasn’t arrived.

I guess the buyout is working great for their efficiency.

you sure it isn’t http://www.ritetemp-thermostats.com ?

for those (about to rock)
of us who aren’t in the know this is relevant for only those fancy pantses with Central Air…or related household systems

Anyone know about the BoC?

Does anyone else have a Groupon ad with a plate of multi-colored cookies or sponges in the picture? I’m so tired of wondering what those things are, and I refuse to click on the ad…just sayin…

I know the description said it works with heat pumps. The manual further states:
“Statement of use: The 6025 can be used with - millivolt, 24V single
and 2-stage conventional systems, gas/oil/electric heat, 1-stage heat
pumps, 2 -stage heat pumps, zoned hot water (2 or 3 wire), zoned
forced air, single and 2-stage cooling, and hybrid systems.”

This is good to know, as many ofthe less expensive programmable thermostats are not compatible with heat pumps.

Stupid.

Probably because those that have bought had their house burn down, loosing all of their computers. Now they can’t write a review or WOOT!

redundant post.
Enjoy my .sig!

From what other people are saying, this could be sold as the Bill Engvall thermostat.

15º off cool.

I was trying to beat the Ghost but i should have known it was not going to happen!

I’ve got two of these installed for the last two years (one upstairs, one down). They work okay but many times I find the one upstairs running when it should be off (IE once it’s reached the desired temperature). And the downstairs one doesn’t always turn on when needed. About 20% of the time I come home to a hotter than usual house. In Phoenix, that’s a big deal!

$10 is less than I paid and this unit is certainly better than I had before it. But next time, I’m definitely going with a better brand. FWIW
