OK, mine arrived today. Exterior brown box looked just fine. Interior box, however, had a foot-long hole in it. Tape on the interior box was not touched. (No one even bothered to open it, and see if the roaster was OK!)
Fortunately, the roaster is NOT damaged.
Woot!, (Amazon!) Someone is slipping!

Mine arrived A-OK.
fired it up with a bunch of water to burn off first use stench.
Cooked chicken patties and tots in a pan in it to test it out.
Totally happy, works like these things should.
