I like the Roku best

Does this version have a browser app?

I have an older Roku that streams everything I want except proprietary content. If this has a browser that will let me watch the videos on the Gleim website, it’s worth upgrading. If not, I may as well stick with the classic Roku.

Lots of trouble with these reconditioned ones (including one I ordered and returned) Roku has brand new ones for $79.99 and free shipping. Need coupon code, but a little searching will be worth it. The extra $15.00 for new and full warranty is worth it.

Yeah, I’ve seen scare stories about remote compatibility problems on refurbs.

It does not have a browser, But the interface is much quicker than the older rokus. And it has screen mirroring with phones and computers.

cant find code you speak of

I have a Roku and a Chromecast and would trade my Roku for another Chromecast in a heartbeat.

I bought a refurb Roku 3 from Newegg about 6 months ago and its been great - no issues at all. The Roku 3 streaming interface is the best, plus it has angry birds in space!

Hm, weird since most comments on previous Roku woots have said essentially the reverse. I have very limited Chromecast experience personally but from what i’ve seen, a Chromecast would be hard-pressed to replace a Roku.

Thank you for the information. It sounds like it’s not worth it for me to upgrade my Roku yet.

I purchased one from Woot! maybe 2 months ago. I had issues getting it to pair up, but ultimately got it to work, and haven’t had an issue since. I ordered another one from Woot! recently, and it arrived today. Both had the same refurb date, but this one came with a white sheet containing remote pairing instructions and troubleshooting that the other one did not have. I didn’t see my resolution listed, but I will be interested to see how things work following the suggestions on that sheet.

with that said, my son uses our current Roko 3 daily, and loves it. I bought another one so I can put it on another TV, and maybe I can watch something on it now and then! LOL
