Great player, have had one for a few months and use it all the time. It is only getting better regularly. Has all your major subscription services like netflix, amazon, etc. Plex media server rocks your socks for your personal media content over the network. NOW WITH YOUTUBE!

New remote with headphones are beautiful for any time you want to block out whats going on around you or keep in whats going on the TV.

I cant come up with anything I dislike about this player. & This price is a steal.

I have three Roku LTs and they are dog slow. I was just telling the wife last night that I was in need of a woot off to upgrade. Youtube channel, ESPN, and (from what I’ve read) more processing power so I’m not sitting around waiting for pages to turn.

I have an LT not as good as the Roku 3 could be your internet connection, IMO

Generic question- has Woot changed the shipping policy from $5 for everything bought in one day, to $5 per cart (order)???

It says it has HBO Go. Does that work with all cable providers? I have Frontier, and I can’t use it on other devices (I subscribe to HBO).

Not gonna work too well on a WOOT-Off tho… (as things will disappear from your cart all day… unless you happen to be purchasing multiple items at the same time on the other sites) -j

I bought the Roku 2 at December’s Woot Off and it’s a dead unit. Still waiting for Woot support to even acknowledge my support ticket.

These are great! I have two. One was new and the other refurbished. Can’t tell the difference between the refurbished and the new one. Comparing it to AppleTV, the Roku is better. Don’t get me wrong, I like my AppleTV also but there are more options with Roku3. Getting closer to cutting the cable.

I think most are open box and not even refurb’d. People buy these then return them once they realize it isnt a replacement for cable tv. 99.9% of roku channels suck and most people already have ways to stream netflix, hulu, etc.
I got a Roku 3 new at wal mart and returned it without opening it, the return counter lady opened it anyway just to make sure? So yeah, many of these are new. I might pick up a refurb when the 3’s hit 50 bucks shipped. At this point, I think a roku 2 xs for 40 or less is the better buy.
