these confuse me. So if you get these sticks, you still have to subscribe to netflix, hulu and other services?

Yes. Nothing is free. Not even shipping.

Only if you want to use those services with the Roku. There are other free options, I use mine for Pandora music, Youtube videos, and I have a Plex media server at my house that I stream to my Roku. No fees required.

However, if you want to watch Netflix or Hulu or HBOgo or any other subscription service, then those fees are separate.

Going on 4 lost here today. I am beginning to think that it isn’t meant to be. Should have learned my lesson when I bought 6 random shirts and rec’d 2 of one style and 4 of another a few weeks ago. That was a disappointment too.

Maybe - If you subscribe to netflix or others you can stream with the Roku, or one of the free sevices (which can be lame) or if you have Dish or Xfinity (or whatever cable service) you can download the channel you want to stream and get a code to unlock it.

Those services aren’t free on your phone, tablet, computer, etc., Why would a different device be any different.

because I went to a homeshow and they had another product and made it sound like all your viewing was free after you bought the device
