Is it just me, or does it irritate everyone that “they” want to disguise the true refresh rate? I can’t tell in this case if the issue is with Samsung marketing or not. It almost worked, so maybe this is effective marketing.
Agreed. Plus with Amazon I can usually get it in 2 days with Prime. Better return policy, even though they now OWN woot.com. They are using woot to clear excess inventory without much a discount. I sure miss the woot, pre-2008. Those were great deals at up to 70% off MSRP. Nowadays I find most woot prices to be higher or just below Ebay, Amazon, TigerDirect, or most online sellers. Once they start charging sales tax in my state, it is OVER for woot. To bad a great shopping site is slowly dying. Amazon is changing the site to be no better than Amazon warehouse, where I get PRIME shipping on most items.

I bought this TV and who ever shipped the product messed up the address and it got delivered though FedEx to some one else. I have been on call with FedEx and they said they cant do anything and I need to contact the seller, I emailed woot support 24 hours earlier and no response yet. No phone number to call, its frustrating and whats the point having an online retailer with out good customer support to solve issues quickly and make customers happy. I work for the biggest home retailer and understand the importance of good customer service support which drives further sales. I guess I am loosing trust with woot.
I’m having similar problems getting a response from Woot on my order. It showed up and the package had clearly been bashed in on the center front. The flimsy foam inserts they put around the nested box had shifted, and so naturally the screen is smashed about 10 inches in diameter adjacent to the top bezel.
I haven’t heard back from woot in 2 days, filed a claim with FedEx just to be sure it’s documented somewhere. But I have to say, this experience has really soured me on this site. They need a better procedure to handle customer concerns, especially when they have such restrictive terms for dealing with damage (it must be returned within 21 days).
