If you don’t need 2, you can get 1 for $69.00 (also refurbished) on the mothership.
I own one of these. One very similar to these by Samsung, works great, app is easy. We used it to keep the house in check. Who’s coming and going with the kids, who’s arriving home after school, who’s raiding the kitchen. I’m thinking two more.
I paid a lot more for the one I own, 129.00
Is it battery or plug in?
Input Voltage: 5V Current: 2A Power Consumption: micro-USB Indication: 1 LED (Power/Status Light)
I pulled the handle but have one question: SD cards are included? Cams came with cards originally.
Per Samsung support offsite storage not free, ever. Don’t need to use it, but pay if you do,
According to this, these cameras should work with Samsung Smartthings v2 hub
I purchased one of them the last time around with woot. Died after 1 month. Wont connect to Wifi anymore. Really annoying.
These units will come with an 16 GB Micro SD Card
They come with a 90 day Samsung Manufacturer Warranty Call 877 349 3149 and if you’re still within the warranty they’ll fix it for you. ezpz.
Plug in. AC adapter
YES! Thank you, I was just going to look that up. In for one! (well… 2, but you get what I mean).
Are the cameras indoor only or also certified outdoor? I think the answer is probably indoor only? Input is AC plug to Micro-USB?
Can you set these up and use them with only a local wifi network with NO internet connecton? In other words, do they work without some cloud server?
I have a couple of these and a few other “flavors” of smartcams. While they are indeed good for what they do & there cost - they also have a notable flaw. To use all the functions you have to go thru Samsung’s servers using either their phone app or their Internet Explorer add-on. They’re only crudely accessible thru other apps/software. This is all because of a well publicized firmware hack – that Samsung is well aware of – and then responds to by making you go thru their servers – opposed to fixing the firmware.
So, if you’re planning on getting these to port to your NAS/FTTP or other … make sure you CHECK COMPATIBILITY of all functions. Also be aware that going thru Samsung’s servers you are relying on their system mgmt – I’ve not been able to access my cameras 3 times in the last 2-yrs & have also had to reconfig/change browsers twice. So 5 times when I needed to look I couldn’t … but I could see/communicate with my NAS.
Anyone know if these would work with webex?
Can get a two pack from amazon with prime shipping “fullfulled by amazon” not direct. for $116 shipped. Warranty is no different but might consider new…
That’s a different model.
