It has a DisplayPort?
It has a DisplayPort!
It has a DisplayPort!!!

Needed to buy a monitor, wanted 4K & cheap. Woot read my mind!

Fantastic monitor, have 3 from previous Woots…

I have a PNY GeForce GTX 750 Ti-OC graphics card with only mini HDMI and DVI (2) outputs. This monitor has HDMI and DisplayPort inputs.

Is there such a thing as a DVI (PC output) -> DisplayPort (monitor input) adapter? Or should I just use the HDMI connections?

Ah heck. I just bought one. I’ve seen this Woot go by too many times. Got one finally.

It has a DisplayPort?

Is that a joke.??!

It tells you that in the specs.!

bought one last holiday season, couldn’t be happier. Doom, Fallout 4, star wars battlefront, etc. couldn’t look better!

Yes- there are adapters available for dvi to displayport. you can also get a cable like this one from Amazon that converts in the cable:
https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Gold-Plated-DisplayPort/dp/B004C9M7UG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1466682456&sr=8-3&keywords=dvi+to+displayport

You don’t likely want to use this monitor with that card, unless you’re okay with a 30hz refresh rate. See this post: How Has Nvidia Managed to Push 60Hz 4K Over HDMI 1.4? | Tom's Hardware

DisplayPort lets you get 60hz at full color (4:4:4) out of your card instead of being reduced to (4:2:0).

Has anyone ever mounted one of these vertically? The VESA mount isn’t centered on the display so I’m not sure it would work.

It has DisplayPort… but does it come with a DisplayPort cord?

Yes, actually, I do believe that was a joke.

Samsung is nice, but not interested in downgrading back down to TN. I’m holding out for an IPS 4K display.

No mention of FreeSync? I’m pretty sure the previous deals mentioned it with this monitor.

Anyway I’m another one that can vouch for this monitor. Not bad for a TN monitor and much faster response time than IPS.

I was somewhat concerned about the 90 day warranty, but I’ve had it for awhile now and no problems (knock on wood).

I bought this several months ago. Do NOT get it for gaming. It has terrible ghosting and only runs at 60Hz. I don’t regret the purchase as it was a major upgrade from a 19" 720p monitor, but I do advise that people look elsewhere if they’re going to spend any time playing games with this monitor.

My friend has it and has no issue with gaming. You using DP cable?
