Reviews over at Newegg

I have been browsing deals for a potential new living room television. Anyone have any advice concerning this one vs the 40 inch in the side deal? I use my ps4 for everything, so the “smart” tv status isn’t too important for me.

I’d go with Samsung over Dynex if you can spare the difference.

make sure the samsung says 120hz ant not 60hz … big issue for gaming especially a LED tv.

Is this the one that spies on you?

Google ‘Samsung power supply issues’

This is a 60Hz TV. The 120 HZ “Clear Motion” is a marketing gimmick. I went shopping for TV this weekend and have noticed other manufactures doing this. Make sure the TV states 120 or 240hz “REFRESH” rate if that is what you want. Anything else is a gimmick.

Check out the Woot Buying Guide for HDTVs.

Be warned. I bought one of these on Woot last July and after 5mo it now needs to “warm up” in order to display anything. Warranty was only 90 days.
