Besides it being from 2013 and having dysfunctional remote. I cannot find a reason not to pull the trigger as bedroom or extra TV. Considering this was top of the line and retailing for $1300 plus in its prime. By the way you cannot get a better current 2015 1080p TV for this price. Please correct me if I am wrong for my research was for only a couple of minutes based on refresh rates, picture quality, features, and price.

I would jump on this if I needed another tv. As for the 2013 model, you can upgrade it to newer features with an Evolution Kit. It also has a camera built in so you can Skype directly from the tv. I bought a 2012 model UN40ES7500 from woot for $700 new and it has been a great tv.

This is my second set and honestly no regrets, might not be a 4K ULTRA but the picture quality and sound are awesome my first set cost me around $700, so $435 for this one is a steal comparing it with newer models…I,ll let you decide!!! …ENJOY!

Had TV screen unformity was terrible flashlights everywhere Gaming latency as bad as plasmas Smart Hub slow as hell picture quality meh!!! So what do you gain unless you have another TV side by side and you can see the difference
