I just bought a samsung sound bar with my new tv. I was going to wait to buy speakers. Would this be compatible with a new sound bar?
I had this system, maybe it was fixed in the refurb, but the connectors for the speakers would lose connection and had to be wiggled to come back. Since its 5.1, you would lose their voice, but not background noise, so you wouldn’t notice right away. It was a daily occurrence so I sold it for $25. Dielectric grease might have fixed it, but I didn’t try.
The wireless smart functions were extremely slow also.
This would replace a sound bar, it is not a rear speaker set if that is what you are looking for. I suppose you could have both going if your TV allows multiple outputs.
