The specs on woot’s site for this TV says the refresh rate is 120 Hz. I was reviewing reviews on this model, and a review commented on it only having a 60Hz refresh rate. I checked Samsung’s site for specs on this model, and they list a spec of a 120 motion rate. Which I noticed, has no Hz, and isn’t refresh rate. I found an article online about manufacturers using misleading methods of indicating the refresh rate to use bigger numbers than they really are. At the end, it listed actual refresh rates vs. the manufacturer’s spec, and it claims the refresh rate of a Samsung TV is half of what it gives as the “motion rate”. This seems to indicate that the actual refresh rate of this TV is 60Hz, and woot has, in error, provided a false spec.
