Everytime I see curved displays in stores they show more glare than any other tv because of the curve.

I bought one of these new over black Friday weekend. Cost a bit more, and I was uncertain about the curved screen.

I have to say, I’m sold on the curve. The viewing angle isn’t reduced, and glare is significantly less than my old LCD with a flat screen.

The built in speakers are really good. Obviously not great, but good enough that I choose not to install a better system for a few months so far.

Great quality screen, I highly recommend it.

Walmart has the same item at $579.99 - refurbished.

Watch out for the refurbs. I haven’t had any luck with them so far. bought two lost two right after the 90 day. :frowning:

Not sure who refurbed woots or Walmarts TV. I did notice that ebates offers a 10% cash rebate at Walmart.com so that lowers the price even more.

Piggy offers a 2.5% cash back at woot.

Did Squaretrade end their relatonship with woot? I thought they used to offer a warranty at checkout but that option did not come up when I put it in my shopping cart.

Wamart’s care plan (warranty) is $91. Not sure how good it is but a quick look at it did show normal wear and tear. But… what is considered normal?

Shipping is $19.97 at Wamart.

Tempmted, since it is a Samsung, but I do not really need to upgrade at this time.

Hi Rob:

The SqTr warranty has never been offered at checkout. It’s shown at the top of the features and you check out from SqTr.

All that said, whoops, we accidentally left it off.

I’ve emailed to get it added.
