I agree. Waiting for a Black Friday deal on an IP system.

Came here for this, they have real IP ones for $299 on woot, I knew Samsung was bad (I had to support one of their systems at a bar near me) but BNC? Why bother?

It’s called HD over coax. Just because it’s BNC doesn’t mean it’s old technology. Have you heard of TVI and AHD?

Those of us with existing installations of older analogue systems can upgrade to FHD wtihout having to run new cabling. I have as much invested in cabling as the cost of a new IP system. Something like this Samsung permits me to upgrade to FHD for pennies compared to the investment in a new IP system and new cabling.

Second this. Used to support hotel networks, running new wiring can be cost prohibitive. This seems like a good way to upgrade to HD from SD without changing infrastructure.

Exactly why I just ordered this. My old low def Q-See system is in need of an upgrade and I have zero desire to crawl around in the attic to run cables again.

Haven’t heard many good things about the Wiseview app. Some say it just sucks! Wonder if you Can use the Q-See QT View or superlive plus with this hardware.

There is absolutely no documentation! Some cords seemed to have been thrown in on the top of one of the packages. I called technical support but after finally (1/2 hour) getting someone they hung up on me. I looked up the model number but it does not exist on the Samsung website!!! I need to return this.

I’m very sorry.

I found manuals on this site.

If that doesn’t work, please use the Woot Customer Service form for assistance.
