I am a senior and have verizon so will this phone be viable with verizon?
Hi there. First, this is a tablet, not a phone.
Unfortunately, it’s GSM only so won’t work on Verizon.
So no SIM card included, will I need the SIM card to only use it on Wi-Fi?
You won’t need a SIM to use this on WiFi. The SIM is only used to access the GSM cellular network.
I have an older Samsung tablet and I just want to note that Samsung does a very poor job of releasing updates compared to Apple. Expect this to lose functionality as OS components age without support a lot quicker than an iPad of similar vintage.
