I bought this at Walmart and it was great. I later saw it on woot, bought it and returned the other one. Its been working great. Only complaint is that its a bit slow when accessing apps like netflix. Once the apps are open its works perfectly.
I had this bluray player and it was nice and worked well. It’s compact size is really nice. I ended up giving it to a friend because I got a ps3 and didn’t need a straight bluray anymore. They love that it has wireless streaming. My only complaint is that the buttons on the top are touch sensitive so my cats would turn it on and off as well as eject the disc tray.
I got this device a year ago. It is a fine blu-ray player but extremely slow with everything else. Netflix freezes for about 1 in 10 shows and the only fix is to unplug the device. The response time between the device and the remote is frustratingly slow. I now only use the player for Pandora and Blu-rays and have found it easier to hook my laptop to my tv and stream netflix through it.
Summary: Buy it for the blu-ray but not for the apps.
Dude. You shipped it in its own box. Right before Christmas. Nothing hiding what it is at all. They mailed a box labeled “Samsung blue ray player.” I’m so pissed. My husband knows not to open packages at Christmas, I guess I need to warn him not to look at the either.
