Why do these only have a 90 day warranty if they are “new”?
I bought these from Woot on Sep 26, 2020 for $145. The ones I received were unusable. They lost connection with the phone unless I held the phone near my ear. The sound was out of sync between the earbuds. I should have Googled “Galaxy Buds Live earbuds connection issues” before I pulled the trigger. You should, too. I returned these to Woot after only a few days.
I bought them on release from Samsung and had similar issues. Even several firmware updates in they continue to disconnect even with the phone in my shirt pocket. Also the ANC is not really a thing…basically not noticeable and drains the battery much faster. I do still have awareness of what’s going on around me, which is safer while biking, but they’re not great. Mic quality for calls is decent though.
In my opinion Samsung can’t get rid of these things fast enough and they don’t want to be stuck supporting them for very long.
Appreciate the feedback on these. I was tempted to buy a pair to connect to my Samsung TV for late night TV watching

I’m not Woot staff, but based on previous similar things, assuming that these are new, they’re either grey/gray market, or Woot was able to get a better price by them carrying the warranty instead of Samsung.
Thanks, how would I tag Woot staff?
Hey @ThunderThighs, can you clarify if these are new or renewed? If new, why only a 90 day Woot warranty? Thanks!
That is super helpful general information! Thanks for sharing.
