I have this and paid more than $400 for it. It is an excellent tablet. It is very fast and has a beautiful display. I also have a second gen iPad which is nice too, but this blows it away in performance and video quality. 16GB is plenty as you can add a 32GB external micro SD card, plenty of memory for most people. I recommend this tablet, especially at this price.

This is the OLD model.NOT a deal at this price if you add the tax. Can be bought refurbished from several online sites for same price.

I got this one at a woot off near Christmas time for this price - I absolutely love it. The only thing I didn’t love is Woot sent me the wrong color, but honestly since I keep it in the case more than not, I really don’t care. Well worth the price, the refurbished status is nothing to be ashamed of.

Yes, really old. The 2013 antique.

Thanks for the feedback, Ringo. Seriously considering this one for awhile now. Does the fact that you’re limited to Jellybean 4.1 hamper the experience for you at all? Just wondering if I pull the trigger now or wait for the Nexus 10 II.

Thanks!

What was the release date on this Tablet, and how much did it cost?

I heard rumors of an all new Samsung tablet/phone which has a fully metal body. Anyone know any details on that? Price, release date, anything new and interesting about it?

I think that perhaps “old” might have been the wrong term. I gather that what was meant by that term was that this is not the current model.

I don’t for one second doubt that this is a very fine tablet, but the reality is that this unit is available in refurbished condition from a number of resellers on Amazon at or around the same price when figuring in shipping and taxes. Given the ability to return it to those resellers via Amazon, I’d surely pick that route over this Woot offering.

So in the end, I don’t fully get Woot’s pricing on this regardless of how one describes which generation of Note it is.

Just this Wooter’s two cents.

Doesn’t change the fact it is the OLD model and not a good deal for this price

I’m using one purchased 2 years ago and have zero problems using it every day. I purchased one of these and expect to use it just as long as the current one.

Also I see that these are now shipping. Expected delivery for Pennsylvania is the 22nd.

For those who cashed in on this deal: I hope you’ll be as happy with your purchase as I.

Note: After 16 hours charging, I was finally able to start the tablet and set it up. It only has charged to 48% though, so it’s going to take a long time to fully charge.
