I am thinking of switching to the 4 phone plan on T-mobile and need 2 “cheaper” phones for my kids and these look like the deal I am looking for, does anybody know if they will upgrade to Marshmallow?
I use them on ST now… You just have to tweak the APN Settings. I have a S4 and a Nexus 5 on ST and love it. LTE everyplace I go. (note: I’m on AT&T with ST)
No, Boost is an MVNO on the Sprint network. They use CDMA technology. These phones are GSM and should work on AT&T, T-Mobile and the associated GSM MVNO’s like Cricket, etc.
Just went through insurance to replace my S5 & paid $200, last week. Great deal, terrible timing.
I think I am going to try this phone. TMobile has better coverage in our area than the Virgin Mobile I have been using, and this phone is a good price.
I bought this about a month or so back. The chrome edging was missing about 50%. The rest looked fine. The operation however was glitchy from the first time I turned it on. I gave it a week to straighten up, but it didn’t ever get better. I returned it. I’d try it again, but haven’t seen my money returned yet.
Can you use this phone on metro pcs
A used dented, scratched out-dated phone isn’t worth 159.00 plus shipping.
I knew that AT&T bought them, TBH, I wasn’t happy, I Hate AT&T… ty though.
Shouldn’t be a problem. I spoke with Straightalk and they told me to just take the sim card out of my S3 and put in in the S5.
I agree, that is why I bought two of these since they are refurbished not used from Ebay. Used and refurbished a big difference!
I asked the same question and nobody answered. I called to make sure and the answer is yes.
My phone arrived today. As others have reported, new charger cable and plug, new back cover, new ear buds, and (apparently) new battery. One minor peeve is that these accessories were white, when the device is black.
Screen did not have any scratches at all (yay!), and chrome bezel was about 90% intact (by area). There was a particularly big ding on one corner, where someone appears to have dropped it on concrete. I plan to get a case for it anyway, so it doesn’t matter to me.
Phone powered up right away, takes a charge, and the update for Android Lollipop was pushed within a few minutes of connecting to my wifi.
Considering my other options for finding this same device, I’m pretty pleased so far.
My phone arrived and it’s showing T-Mobile. My AT&T SIM is not working on it. Seems like “Unlock” is not working properly, or am I missing something? please help.
Received phones. In really good condition. T-Mobile version of phone.
We are on at&t and after updating had to go to gsm only to get it to work on network.
Anyone else have that problem?
Assume I can rebuild using pure Android since it is unlocked?
I received my phone yesterday (Friday 2/19). The chrome edging is completely missing on the bottom and slightly missing on the sides, but otherwise the phone is in perfect condition. No scratches on the screen at all, brand new accessories. Using the phone was as easy as putting my AT&T SIM into the slot.
My biggest concern was the battery time (horror stories I’ve read online about the S5), but mine lasted for 15 hours before I got the low battery warning, and that was with very heavy Netflix streaming, Pandora streaming, social networking, and Cookie Jam.
First purchase through Woot and I was worried about a refurbed product (never bought one before), but I am 100 percent satisfied.
10/10 would buy again.
I received my white Galaxy S5 today. It looks just like a new phone. No scratches or dents at all. The only thing that reveals it to not be new is it is kind of dirty in the charging port.
I had a Galaxy S2, so I couldn’t just switch the sim card. I had to go to the ATT store, but a new sim card got the phone working.
After I got home, I realized the internet wasn’t working. After some googling, and changing a few settings, and rebooting, it is now working fine. The main thing to change is the APN or Access Point Name.
The T-Mobile flash screens come up on mine also. But that doesn’t mean it is not unlocked. It is unlocked, because the phone is working on the ATT network.
You can get rid of the T-Mobile flash screens, sounds, and the apps, but you have to root the phone. I may or may not do that at some point.
Anyway, that is my experience and I am satisfied with this purchase.
Man my phone has not even shipped yet and you all got your phones already. Funny I bought two, one white and one black. The white one shipped from NY and the black one has not shipped yet. Two shipments seems silly must be two different warehouses. Going to MI. I hope mine are in good shape like everyone else seems!
Wow, same here. I bought 2, also 1 black and 1 white, and they split the packages up and I have tracking info on 1 but not the the other yet. Also I am in Mi too, wonder if that has anything to do with it?
It’s very possible that they separated the shipping and the others will be shipping soon.
It’s much faster to ship all of one product than it is to read each order to combine items.
