They say scratches and dents may be on the screen as well, they wouldn’t send out a unit that has a noticeable impact on the screen right?

I bought one of these in the last woot-off. My screen might have a couple tiny scratches, only noticeable if you tilt the screen. The body is a bit banged up, but nothing is cracked.

Compared to “Fair” condition on Swappa.com, this is cheaper. For my purposes, it’s working good.

Since the S-5s are Samsung’s most popular phone to date, I bought two of these here in February and put in my Consumer Cellular Sim cards. After numerous updates plus changing to Consumer Cellulars APN settings, I am still unable to make Wi-Fi phone calls. No matter what I have tried, I constantly see an “Er 101 - Invalid Certificate” message in the Wi-Fi message settings. Phones are on Android 6.1 and my home network is a very good asus that is connected with WPN for both 5.0 GHz and 2.4 GHz. I never had a problem with my old Galaxy phones and Samsung hasn’t answered any requests for help. Thought you should know.

gotten 2 here before, my other daughter got jealous and getting one for her now.

Good phone for the price. Updated free to Android 6.01. the “scratches” on my previous two were limited to the chroming on the edge trim.

Two criticisms:

  1. the generic charging cable that WOOT included with both was useless - can’t be used for charging or data-transfer.

  2. The charging-port flap that keeps it water-resistant will fall-off within six months.

NOTE: if you’re not on T-Mobile, you’re mileage may vary, very compatible with T-Mobile which treats it just like one of their own phones including running all T-Mobile apps.
