I bought the 8" Note they offered a few weeks ago, and it’s awesome. Arrived in perfect condition and works flawlessly. If you don’t care about the S Pen, this is a good deal.

Well the note has totally different and decent specs. The tab 3 looks underpowered. I prefer the Dell Venue 8 over the tab 3 8.

No GPS? No deal.

Nice line but not true.

Per the specs on both:

Features: GPS tagging

Good price but this is the 2013 edition and the screen resolution is only 1280 X 800 .
For $299 you can find the 2014 with 2560 X 1600 screen, depends on what you want.

Bought the Tab3 about two months ago here on Woot. I am so happy with it. I may even switch from an iPhone to an Android!

I’m going to have to say "Nu-uh’!

The 2014 Tab has the exact same resolution (it’s thinner and lighter though) and maybe can be found as low as $300. The 2014 Tab PRO has the higher resolution, but runs $400.

Mine arrived today with a hairline line in it. It also has a small dent on the side. It looks like it has been dropped. I am contacting Woot.com for a replacement/refund. I so really wanted this tablet. I’ve purchased one from them before so hopefully Woot will replace it with no problem.

Oh man, that’s a bummer. Keep us updated on how things go.
