As of right now, the mothership has the new US version, without book cover, for $300. It’s after an $30 instant rebate that must be clicked.

I was excited until I found out the S9 FE tablet skimps on processor.

$330 at Samsung site with pen but without cover. However, they have a special running with a trade-in of minimum $75 for any Samsung tablet in good condition.

Not that great of a deal

I was looking at that until i realized my old (2019 & 2021) 10" Samsung tablets were still selling on Ebay for $100+. A little more effort, but more money back. (depending on your tablet and it’s condition, of course)

Theoretically true, though if you sell it on a site like eBay or Swappa, once you calculate fees and shipping, it needs to be a decent sale value.

On the other flipper, after checking here, a $100 sale would be $87 before shipping costs, so you’d still come out ahead.

If you have literally an s7 or better that’s not the FE it’s in most comparison sites as better than the S9FE tab

I was considering this tablet over the entry-level A-series one that’s being offered for less than half the price. I didn’t want that one due to the low amount of RAM, which will adversely affect performance. In the end, though, I went with the Lenovo Tab Plus that’s currently at Best Buy for $190, due to a combination of price, speakers, and overall adequacy in everything else, since I almost exclusively want it for media consumption and not gaming or content creation. Also, the built-in kickstand is fantastic.

I ordered and I got it today.
The box wasn’t sealed with tape and the pen had some traces of being used.
The box was in spanish, with a big sticker saying “distribuidor autorizado”.
When you start the tablet it asks you for the country, and it only shows countries in South America (Colombia/Peru/Argentina/etc…).

I tried to register it for the warranty on Samsung’s website, and it says the that model is invalid (for the US).

Hello. There should be an English language version. The warranty is not through Samsung. There should be a paper in the box with the warranty information.

If you’re unhappy with it, please reach out to Woot! Customer Service.

Please allow 24-48h for them to respond.

Self-Return: Items without Li-Ion batteries can be self-returned within 30 days. Go to your Order Details to get started. The return label will be emailed from UPS.

The paper with the warranty ok n formation says that the warranty is valid with Samsung in south America (attached picture).
And the tablet only lets you to choose one from that region when you start it.

Can I get one with a US warranty and that has other regions?

? I prefer that than having it with a cover.

Good morning. This was advertised as an international model

Did you try picking a region and THEN a language?

It won’t have a Samsung warranty. Per the sale:

1 Year Limited Warranty. Details will be included in the shipped unit.

Was there other documentation in the shipping box (not necessarily the Samsung box).

If you’re unhappy with the tablet, reach out to Woot! Customer Service and they can help you with a return.

Hello!

The only documents concerning a warranty is the one from Samsung in South America.

I can change the language, but i can’t change the region and the thing that goes with.

And my box came open.
I sent to the customer support the photos and videos (unboxing, region locked, warranty)

Thanks

You have to pick one of those regions. It was sold as an international model.

I’ll check on the warranty.

Update: For the warranty, there should have been a paper or label somewhere like this:

This International Version device was set by me to North America, yet the Play Store blocks me from using popular streaming apps like YouTubeTV. Peruvian futbol fans will love it
