It is showing you a price with a trade in - if you go to the buy now and click no for trade in, then the price changes to $279.99

Just got the Galaxy Watch3 this morning for $239.99 before tax without a trade in, I qualified for one of the education/government/first responder/military/etc discounts they offer, so if you can fall into one of their discount groups it’s cheaper over there.
Not much of a fan of these. Great features, but I’ve had two different Samsung watches, this one and the Sport model, both died about a year after I purchased with battery life decreasing significantly over time.
