I bought one of these last time, and I was REALLY psyched to get it. But when it arrived its box was inside another box, ill fitting with no real additional padding, and marked only “heavy”, not “fragile”. Fedex took this to mean that they could toss it about with reckless abandon, which they must have done. Because when I opened the inner box and took out the screen, it had a MASSIVE set of cracks up the middle of it. I immediately returned it and I would have just exchanged but they were “sold out”. Now that they are back in stock I am nervous about buying it because is it just going to arrive damaged again, packed by ignorant chimps who don’t understand about padding and properly labeling things as fragile!
If you got your money back ok I’d try it again and contact customer support to let them know your issues from the last order so they hopefully will put a note to pack much better than last time you ordered one. I ordered a refurbished monitor years ago probably from here, can’t remember, but whoever it was it showed up fine and I’m still using it today years later. It was a 23" monitor so smaller if that makes a difference.
