why does this look like a cheap throw away kids camera?

screen is very fragile

How is the quality of a Samsung camera compared to say a Cannon?

Does this have a standard tripod mount?

This is one ugly looking camera.

5 full stars on Amazon, from 9 reviewers. That’s pretty good.

Oh, and a 7.2 on CNET. Sounds pretty promising.

How long is the record time for the AVIs?

It doesn’t accept SD cards.

what an ugly camera, besides what average user of a P&S camera needs 10+ MP overkill + ugly as sin + $150 for ugly = no thanks

Too bad I already bought one when it first came out around $300. well worth it…a great point and shoot. Can’t beat it except it has a proprietary sync/charge cable.
