I’d pass on this deal for sure.
I bought the 75" brand new for $1999 in October. It is a nice set for the price, but I wouldn’t buy anything Samsung without a warranty (and I am an avid Samsung supporter).
Pass until Samsung proves they have solved the power cycling issues for good. We have a Samsung - love the picture but it gets too hot and seems to power cycle on and off until we unplug it, wait a minute, and then plug in again. It is a known problem and Samsung admits they used a capacitor that was too small.
I’m for making them pay for their error through lower sales.
I’ll pay a little more for a Sony.
I have the 75 inch QLED, this is a decent price, though not a woot-level discount considering factory reconditioned. I’ve never run into an overheating problem and I leave mine on with the 4k Apple TV screensaver constantly as well as binge gaming.
I returned a 75 in Sony Bravia due to dead pixels. The QLED was a significantly better picture and cheaper. I seldom use the TV UX, but it seems pretty responsive compared to my LG.
