This is a pretty great buy for anyone who is willing to give up the waterproof aspects of the S7. Other than that, performance wise they are definitely on par.

The benchmark differences which favor the s7 are almost unnoticeable once app data is cached, and the larger sized battery in the s7 is neutralized from the increase ram which uses more power.

This is the ATT so it will come with the standard bloatware from them, but still a great buy for gsm users.

Oh and woot. to save you the headache, your description has:

Hear the difference with HD Voice/Video Calls
Experience natural-sounding calls with HD Voice/Video delivered over Verizon 4G LTE or Wi-Fi. And now you can stay connected wherever you have Wi-Fi. Just add HD Voice to your Galaxy S6 or S6 edge, enable Wi-Fi Calling on the device, and make calls anywhere. All you need is a Wi-Fi connection. You can also make and receive calls while surfing the web, continuing downloads and using an app with Simultaneous Voice & Data.

May want to edit that copy and pasted section. This one wont work for verizon

Anyone know if this is compatible with Republic Wireless? What is the build number for this phone? Seems the model number is off by last digit.

Compatible model number: SAMSUNG-SM-G920T

This phone’s model number isSAMSUNG-SM-G920A

Don’t even waste your money… You can buy unlocked Galaxy S6 phones from Samsung direct for cheaper…

ATT: 185.00
VZW: 177.00
Tmob: 180.00

Are you talking about Samsungs refurbished site? I think you are reading the amount you save not the price.

Regular Price:
$576.99
Your Price:
$399.99
You save:
$177.00

Why buy cheaper when you can get scratched and dented, and probably dysfunctional with a “present” that is suitable for other phone.

Republic Wireless piggybacks off tmobiles network which uses band 1700 and 1900 for their LTE/4G service so…

yes you are covered with this model.

I bought the Galaxy Note 4 from woot a few weeks ago…after getting a sim card ($4 on ebay–Not $21 from Tracfone!), I got it working and like it.
Having a replaceable battery and sd card slot is a Plus. And the 5.7" screen.

From Techrader:

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is undoubtedly the best phone in the S range, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 represents the best of a premium line that runs parallel to it.

^^X^^

LOL! FAIL!

Except Republic Wireless’s website doesn’t list this as a compatible model and specifically says the T-Mobile phones aren’t compatible right now. https://republicwireless.com/bring-your-own-phone/

Yup - this. ^^^

Pretty sure Republic is a MVNO on Sprint. At least it was when they first started up.

"They may have minor cosmetic blemishes to the body of the unit and surface scratches on the screen. "

Anyone buy one of these before and can provide real-life experience on the blemishes? I wouldn’t mind minor scratches on the body, but I wouldn’t want noticeable screen scratches.

This will work with Viaero wireless ?

My bad, I guess I may be wrong…at the same time it sounds like they are pulling hocus pocus out of their ass with these explanations:

Be very careful with RW specs. I found an S6 on eBay, but they added they build requirements last minute and had to return the phone.

RW FAQ:
For Samsung Galaxy S6
MMB29K.G920TUEU3DPD6
MMB29K.G920TUES4DPF1
MMB29K.G920TUEU4DPG2
MMB29K.G20TUES4DPH2

Fixed! Thanks.

I bought a scratch and dent Samsung S5 last year and it looked like it had been dropped in a running garbage disposal and has scratches over the camera lens. Just say no to this deal.
