Mine just arrived, in a little ziplock, non-anti-static, no other contents in bubble mailer, no pictured adapter, no retail or oem bend-protect packaging… rather sus for “new.” Now I’ll have to run some test utilities…
Emails were sent out for multiple items in this event, on March 3rd entitled “About Your Order”, letting people know that a mistake was made, and that the item purchased was refurbished.
Customers were given a choice of keeping the order, or having it cancelled.
This may have been part of that, though I’m not positive.
(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)
I saw the email after the date and time that was specified to respond by. Strange that there was such a short window since it took almost a week to ship.
Received our SD cards today. Needless to say we were very disappointed. No manufacturer packaging, no sd card adapters. I immediately came to Woot to check community comments. One of the posts mentioned that an email was sent out by Woot offering customers the option to cancel their order. I never recall seeing this email.
How do you list an sd card with sd adapter as new, including showing Sandisk manufacturer packaging?! My husband is now running validation testing on the cards. We shouldn’t have to do this on an item sold as “new”.
All customers should we given at least a partial refund for false advertising.
If you’re unhappy, please reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).
