Also had the same issue with shipping times. I got the shipping notification when it was already delivered the same day (it actually shipped two days before that). Mine came without any bubblewrap, paper, or any kind of cushioning besides the anti-static bag and the box itself.
Anyways, I bought 3 of these, 1 is DOA. It couldn’t be recognized at all. (EDIT: looks like all three of them have issues, look below)

Nothing wrong with this on SMART, but it keeps dropping offline whenever I move data into it.
So it looks like I will be sending these all back for a refund since they don’t have anymore to replace (thank goodness).
